Announcing the BURN Arts Micro-Grants!

The Bug

Documentation of Future Histories by Shane (Sugar) Sugrue, 2019. Image by Megan Keene

Burn Arts is excited to announce that we've created a Micro-Grant scheme to support civic participatory activities around the calendar! This is in line with our goal to become an active arts organisation beyond the Modifyre paddock, so we're pretty chuffed it's happening. While they're small for now (hence the Micro part of the title!), our hope is that the grant scheme, which is currently funded by Modifyre ticket sales, will continue to grow incrementally over future events.

Head to www.modifyre.org/burn-arts to check out the criteria and get more information, and email art@burn-arts.org if you have any questions.

BURN Arts Inc. and the Modifyre community wish to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Country
upon which Modifyre takes place, the Bigambul Peoples.

We also wish to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Country upon which we al live, learn and work.
We honour their Ancestors and pay our deepest respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.

We extend that respect to all First Nations People, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the nation. We honour and respect their continued cultural and spiritual relationship
to their Traditional Lands, Seas and Waters and recognise their unique and valuable contribution to society.

Sovereignty was never ceded.
